Title: Warehouse Manager
Days: 5-7 Days a week at the shop with Option of Show Calls on weekends.
Hours: VARIED (1-hour lunch)
This position will consist of but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
• Creating and delegating daily warehouse tasks to each shop employee and/or department
• Open the warehouse for daily crew and manage shop priorities and responsibilities
• Oversee show preps, not limited but including renting gear and negotiating pricing with vendors/suppliers.
• Continually finding, recommending, interviewing, hiring of new , technicians and other associated staff (All hiring and firing must be approved by upper management)
• Tracking and monitoring all equipment inventory from shop to show back to the shop
• Facilitating and overseeing all equipment repairs and purchases including tracking packages and associated paperwork
• Potentially attend walk through meetings to specify audio applications in indoor and outdoor venues & potential installation locations.
• Advance shows with salesmen and track all inventory through Flex Rental Solutions program
• Training current and new employees on all equipment and all standard company procedures
• Coordinate transportation dispatching for all events/shows/load in/shop calls
• Ensure that warehouse is kept organized and cleaned on a daily basis
The qualifications for the ideal candidate are:
• Electrical Knowledge
• Knowledge of Inventory Management
• 5 years of Supervisory experience (preferably in Live Events or Production)
• Strong leadership ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to take on, manage, prioritize, organize and get work done efficiently as well as multiple tasks
• Knowledge of Machinery, i.e; Fork Lift
• Ability to handle any task with a positive, proactive can-do attitude
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Available to 5 days a week (Monday - Friday: 8 AM - 6:00 pm) (Some Saturdays & Sundays depending on work volume)
• Fluency or basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus
Salary:
• Compensation to be discussed based on qualifications.
• 6-month probation
• 6-month evaluation of performance
