Amazon Studios launched in 2010 as a new way to develop feature films and episodic series-one that's open to great ideas from creators and audiences around the world. Amazon Studios Original Content is available to Prime members and is known for bringing customers the Golden Globe-winning and Oscar-winning films Manchester by the Sea and The Salesman, alongside the Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-winning series Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle. Prime members also have access to a collection of Amazon Original series for kids and an extensive library of Amazon feature films.
Amazon Studios releases 14 - 16 films per year to Theaters, Home Entertainment and Prime Video. Our films are ambitious, independent movies by visionary directors that require innovative materials, creative marketing campaigns and excellent communication with internal team members and filmmakers.
Original Movies is looking for a Marketing Delivery Manager to join the marketing and distribution team and will report to the Senior Creative Marketing Manager. We are seeking a team player who is results-oriented and has the ability to handle multiple titles, tasks and has a passion for independent film.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate approval process between Amazon marketing groups, legal and International partners for creative materials and packaging, from original drafts through revisions and final delivery
• Organize a centralized marketing calendar/deadlines for both print and a/v creative assets and recommend priorities to internal partners
• Creating, entering and trafficking house codes for both external and internal partner
• Oversee final quality check on print and a/v materials created for marketing (i.e. newspaper, digital & a/v) and ensuring that the proper tagging/market information is included
• Proactively work to find new way to streamline internal processes
• Support marketing department on execution of a broad range of promotional activity including retail promotions, social media promotions, coordinating and gathering programming assets and more
• Driving and owning the road map for implementation of feature print and a/v marketing materials
• Managing external vendors and freelancers
• Planning and maintaining the localization budget
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5 years in relevant marketing experience with a film studio, creative agency and or media advertising agency
• Experience in feature film distribution, media delivery and/or marketing localization
• Experience with creative marketing assets for feature films and knowledge of the entertainment marketing industry
• Detailed knowledge of workflow in the creation of creative marketing assets and the ability to prioritize, monitor and manage workload
• Ability to deal with a variety of creative personalities
• Basic understanding of certain legal documents such as paid ad restrictions and how it applies to marketing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Editorial and/or Photoshop experience
• Basic understanding of language and format for various forms of post production and/or print production
