PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
A non-profit specializing in digital cultural preservation is seeking a talented coordinator to join our team. This position coordinates our cross-functional production teams and requires effective project management skills. We look for clear communicators that demonstrate a high level organization and possesses a very proactive / positive attitude. Knowledge of photography and camera gear is a definite plus, but not a necessity.
We are a fast growing company that likes to promote from within. You must be dedicated, with great communication skills and a firm commitment to learning what it takes to handle all aspects of this multifaceted position. A positive attitude and demeanor is essential.
MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively coordination of projects for the in-house producer and director of operations
- Scheduling, prioritizing and tracking internal technical assignments and project details.
- Coordinating and monitoring multiple projects effectively.
- Synthesizing company ideas and directives into correspondences and newsletters.
- Ensuring project scope, status and completion information up to date in statement of work and database.
- Monitoring and controlling progress, issues and preparing reports.
- Back office organization (camera gear, VR equipment, etc).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Highly organized with excellent scheduling and task management skills.
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to problem solve effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience within a technology centric industry as a coordinator or high level PA.
- Ability to liaise and collaborate with clients, artists and producers.
- Working experience with project management software is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office package (including word, excel) is required
- Role reports to Supervising Producer and Director of Operations
- We look for proactive and personable team players
- Some domestic and international travel is expected
- Remuneration commensurate with experience
