Music Management firm is looking for an organized, detail-orientated office assistant to work with owner and aid management staff of 4. MUST HAVE PASSION FOR MUSIC and be knowledgeable and well versed in SOCIAL MEDIA. KNOWLEDGE OF MUSIC INDUSTRY AND PRIOR OFFICE EXPERIENCE A PLUS. TV/FILM APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY. PASSION FOR HARD ROCK IS A PLUS
Basic administrative duties include, but not limited to: rolling calls; scheduling; maintaining office calendar; booking and coordinating travel; shipping/receiving; coordinating tour itineraries, radio, research; digital/new media updates and maintenance; update/maintain websites and social media pages; maintaining office supplies and merchandise closet; and much more.
Requirements: Passion to work in the music business, eager to learn, 24/7 attentiveness, good people skills, multi-tasking, self-starter that can take initiative and control, ability to shift gears quickly and follow-up. Would also like someone who can run with a task when assigned. Must be strong in the digital and marketing areas and experience with online social networking communities. Must be savvy with Mac, Excel, and other common programs. Experience in administrative support is preferred.
