The Job:
A West Los Angeles-based entertainment professional
is seeking a Personal Assistant/Office Manager who can function as the glue that holds home and office together. This is a full-time position and requires confident
management expertise. Responsibilities include: effectively organizing an office system and keeping it running smoothly and efficiently; interacting with the client's entertainment team, production personnel, and home employees; keeping a detailed calendar and daily itinerary; arranging travel; scheduling home maintenance; common business administrative functions, including filing and Google Drive archiving; and assistance in estate and property management, including but not limited to errands, shopping, party planning, etc. The ideal person for this job is someone who is very organized, can cheerfully keep a lot of balls in the air, is a problem solver, and is a self-directed, ''get it done'' person.

A deep breather. A positive attitude, and an understanding that your role may be behind the scenes, but you will be expected to be ''command central'', aware of all moving parts, and you must work in a low profile manner. Discretion,
client is a well known personality, there is a certain element of obscurity to your role. A ''no job is too big, no job is too small'' mentality. A solutions-oriented management attitude. A proven and effective problem-solver. Not afraid of numbers….Experience creating and working with budgets.
A caring and empathetic attitude when dealing with children, and other family members. Ability to prioritize. Wisdom.
Self directed. Organized, detail orientated, creative and maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must have
the ability to deal with change quickly,
efficiently and without complaint. Must have VERY strong listening skills, 5+ years of professional experience,
ideally as a personal assistant or household/estate manager within a home .
General Requirements and Workday:
Generally, Monday through Friday, during business
hours. Client tries to accommodate a basic 9 to 6 schedule for this position; however, the client occasionally works long hours, and as such the applicant should be flexible, as sometimes they will need to work later in order to assist the client. Client is respectful of applicant's personal life, however, as it is a Personal Assistant position, the Applicant must be available on cell phone, and respond promptly to texts and emails from employer. This is NOT a 24/7 job, but when Client has a question, it needs to be answered.

Vacation:
After the first two months of employment, the Personal
Assistant is entitled to ten (10) days of paid vacation time per year.
PersonalDays:
After the initial 2 months of employment, the Personal
Assistant shall be entitled to no less than five (5) paid personal days, not to be used as or in conjunction with vacation days, or sick days.
Paid Holidays:
The following six (6) days are paid holidays for the Personal Assistant: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
