Fox Digital Consumer Group is seeking a Freelance Strategy & Operations Associate.
The media industry is going through a period of immense consumer driven change as OTT and digital access to TV increases. The Fox Digital Consumer Group (DCG) is a business unit in Fox's TV group (FNG). The group's focus is developing digital TV & video-centric products bringing Fox's content to more consumers in new and exciting ways.
Within DCG, the Strategy, Commercial & Marketing team is responsible for defining the overall strategy, managing the group operations, developing propositions and business cases and working with the product & development teams to bring products to market and then delivering sales and performance targets.
Responsibilities
• Assist the Strategy team across a broad range of areas
• Manage day-to-day editorial process of FNG entertainment apps (FOX NOW, FXNOW, NatGeo TV)
• Create presentation for senior stakeholders
• Assist with content rights tracking
• Research competitors and competitor digital products
• Assist with user testing research
• Assist with a variety of strategic and operational projects
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 2 years of experience in TV or Film industry preferred
• Expert excel skills
• Expert PowerPoint skills
• Extreme attention to detail
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Division Description
The Fox Digital Consumer Group is a strategic business unit with a customer-driven focus that is leading the consumer-driven revolution in media and entertainment. The group is strengthening and improving Fox Networks' already successful TV Everywhere apps as well as developing, building and executing new consumer offerings that deliver fantastic Fox content in new and exciting ways.
Fox DCG is responsible for driving the development of platforms and capabilities and overseeing the ongoing enhancement and support of Fox Networks' existing apps and TV Everywhere, including Fox Now, FX Now, Fox Sports Go and the National Geographic TV Apps, as well as the creation of new direct to consumer TV products. Additionally, they work hand-in-hand with the network marketing groups to promote awareness, adoption and usage of our TV Everywhere offerings, guide strategy and business development for new offerings, and manage key partner relationships (including the integration with Fox's regional businesses in Europe, Asia and Latin America).
