As we continue our transformation to a next-generation studio and expand our streaming service's global footprint, we need to understand and source the best possible vendors for production and post-production services, localization and media processing around the world.
This position is ideal for someone looking to play a major role in the transformation of the entertainment industry. Netflix desires to build deep and meaningful digital supply-chain relationships with our partners and you will be a part of making that happen. You will play an integral role in making Netflix the most efficient and effective digital platform on which to deliver the assets of our Content Partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Build an active database of international vendors involved in production and post.
• Collect market intelligence on various services in international territories.
• Create reports on performance metrics and service capabilities of vendors.
• Implement long-term strategies to evolve the Netflix Preferred Vendor (NPV) program.
• Perform consistent outreach with vendors by addressing questions and requests.
• Work with vendors to articulate and correct service failures or deficiencies.
• Investigating new tools and technology to make workflows more efficient.
• Plan and organize large and small international outreach events.
• Possible international travel with engineering groups to vet vendors
Key Attributes:
• Knowledge of dubbing, subtitling, media processing, A/V production and post workflows.
• Deep understanding of analytics, data management, and project management
• History of building vendor and customer relationships.
• Team player who is also able to work independently and make sound judgment calls.
• Ability to multitask, be flexible, and thrive in challenges.
• Interest in new technology that promotes forward thinking, efficiency, and scalability.
• Able to communicate and work along side engineering and technology groups easily.
• Multiple language skills a plus, with strong preference for Spanish and/or Brazilian Portuguese skills.
