Rodale Inc. is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented and technically savvy Digital Ad Ops Coordinator/Strategist to join the Revenue Operations team reporting directly to the Manager of Ad Operations and dotted line to the Manager of Media Planning & Account Strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital ad creative specifications, technical troubleshooting and problem-solving, online ad campaign metrics and analysis, as well as be able to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review campaign details with Media Planner and Account Strategist within assigned pod during kick-off calls to understand what creative assets/tags are needed prior to campaign launch.
• Liaise between sales rep, account strategist and agency/client in communicating creative asset specifications and submission deadlines to ensure on-time and flawless launch of digital campaigns.
• Collect creative assets and perform technical QA, up to and including setting up complex creative assets in our testing environment for further troubleshooting.
• Send failed creative assets back to advertising client to rectify issues/bugs until assets pass QA.
• Upload passed creative assets to ad server and assign to proper line items within each appropriate order for our advertising client.
• Share preview links to advertising clients as needed/requested.
• Review screenshot decks compiled by Sales Assistants as post-launch QA.
• Coordinate with clients on additional creative assets needed for other line items scheduled for launch mid-flight.
• Troubleshoot live creative rendering issues and incorrect ad placement tickets. Escalate to internal ad product, DEV, and Google Support teams as necessary.
• Provide assistance with running and interpreting third party tagging and reporting as needed
• Identify opportunities to implement solutions that increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of the Ad Ops department, including the development of tools, process and reports related to job responsibilities
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or Director of Revenue Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-2 years of prior ad trafficking experience preferably on the media publishing or agency side with knowledge of DFP Premium, LiveIntent, Nativo,
• Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
• Knowledge of rich media as well as other related ad serving technologies and measurement vendors
• Flexible, personable attitude; Ability to develop cordial and professional relationships
• Familiar with online advertising, marketing, and sales concepts and metrics
• Strong communication and relationship skills; ability to publicly present ideas and information
• Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes
• Must possess strong attention to detail
• Must be a team player and have the ability to multitask
• Knowledge of the online advertising industry, technologies, and pricing and inventory
• Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
