Full Time Job
Rodale is seeking a dynamic social media-savvy partnerships director to drive audience development efforts for its portfolio of world-class health and wellness brands, including Men’s Health, Women’s Health, and Runner’s World. In this role, you will discover, establish, and manage Rodale’s audience-generating relationships, working in collaboration with brand editorial teams as well as the cross-functional digital team to evaluate and optimize opportunities to grow our brands’ audience reach and retention.
Responsibilities
include:
• Helping to drive and continually calibrate Rodale’s content distribution strategy via search, social, syndication, and other emerging platforms, partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate new and existing relationships
• Tirelessly pursuing new audience growth opportunities, staying on top of industry trends to identify and experiment with emerging platforms and strategies
• Analyzing performance of new and ongoing partnerships, reporting results to the executive team and working with partner and internal teams to optimize performance
• Directly managing the team of cross-brand social media editors, refining social best practices and strategy that maximizes traffic return, as well as consumer and sales revenue
• Managing and optimize paid social campaign strategy, collaborating across editorial and marketing teams to set and deliver against goals
• Lead complex contract negotiations as necessary in the establishment and execution of key audience development and content distribution partnerships
Ideal candidates will possess:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a partnerships or audience development capacity, with at least 3 years’ experience directly managing a team
• Extensive industry contacts, particularly in the social platform space
• A proven track record of establishing successful audience-generating relationships, preferably for consumer media brands
• A solid understanding of social media analytics and audience metrics
• Experience with Facebook business manager highly preferred
• Familiarity with collaborating across cross-functional digital teams, including but not limited to editorial, marketing, and product management
• Effective communication and presentation skills
