Scripps Networks Interactive, the leader in lifestyle media bringing you top brands such as HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel and more, is growing and looking to add a new Director of Content Research and Strategy to provide top level insights on the state of our ever changing media industry, propose projections of trends and discover potential future opportunities for our brands.
Joining us at our Chelsea Market location in New York, New York and closely partnering with the SVP of Brand Research and Strategy, this talented storyteller will dive into the data and focus not only on television analytics but recognizes the impact digital has on our industry and tactfully paint a comprehensive picture to our senior leaders of what that means for top brands.
Join our insights driven organization in best determining where to play and how to win so that we can find even better ways to inspire, enlighten and empower our amazing consumers with lifestyle content.
-YOU-
• You have 8 years of experience in the media industry focusing on linear and digital measurements and insights
• You are a skilled communicator who can boil data down to simple, actionable insights
• You can easily manage analysis for both secondary and primary data
• You have a strong understanding of how ratings are determined and have worked with Nielsen and Adobe Analytics data extensively along with other sources
• You are skilled at integrating internal and external views to create a business-relevant perspective
• You are an Excel and Powerpoint mastermind and it's a plus if you have knowledge of statistical packages
• You're always in the know on changing measurement methodologies and can quickly determine how that'll affect our business
• You effectively monitor timelines and adjust work as needed to achieve incredible success.
• You have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• You enjoy working in a fun collaborative team but can buckle down and work independently as well
