Job Description
THE ROLE: Associate Archival Producer, Content Creation (Temporary)
We are looking for a diligent and motivated A ssociate Archival Producer to join our dynamic Post Production team! This position provides dedicated archival support for the Content Creation unit in Post Production and reports to the Manager of Production Content Clearance facilitating a close partnership and communication between Post Production and Rights and Clearances. In this role, you will compile, review , and verify that all materials used in our internally-produced content are properly cleared and licensed for distribution to all desired territories and platforms.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Work with the producer s and editors on segments to determine archival needs to help with the story narrative
• Research a rchival, track media , and organiz e project assets
• Assist in maintaining the internal archival databases
• Locate relevant archival materials from a multitude of sources and log them
• Create shot sheets using video EDLs and source episode shot sheets from each cut
• Help finalize other deliverable s
• Support the overall workflow and archival usage f rom rough cut to final lock cut for the team's review
• Track any footage that was swapped or needs to be replaced
• Support archival cost estimate with each cut
• Obtain and track masters for all archival in locked episodes
• Communicate project status and share final deliverables with Rights and Clearances Analysts.
YOUR STORY:
• 1- 2 year s of experience in a fast-paced television environment and knowledge of post-production work is preferred but not required
• At least a basic understanding of clearance laws, including fair use and public domain
• Familiarity with archival vendors
• Music cue sheet experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team
• Time management skills and ability to prioritize a to-do list
• Troubleshoot issues independently, and with team support
Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
CompensationContract Hourly Pay Rate: $35.71
The pay rate displayed serves as a good faith estimate for this role.

such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and
