Part Time Paid Internship
Position Information:
• Hours: 40 hours per week (9:00 – 5:00pm)
• Location: Remote (Anywhere within the U.S.A.)
• Start Date: June 17 – December 6, 2024
• Compensation: $18.00/hour

Intern, Project – Sponsorship Sales & Brand Partnerships
As the Project Intern for Brand Solutions & Partnerships, you will work directly with internal teams and third-party live events production team to strategically plan and coordinate local community and educator outreach efforts for the Million Bazillion Live: Who Wants To Be A Bazillionaire? 2025 Tour. This role ensures that the tour has a direct, impact on local communities across the U.S. You will also assist with the development of engaging content and interactive experiences during the Million Bazillion Live 2025 Tour to inspire curiosity among middle school students about the economy and money.
Through coordinating and managing integrated performance databases for the various teams connected to this project, you are supporting the goal of the tour – which is to ensure that financial literacy education and awareness reaches diverse, socio-economic audiences across digital, print, social, broadcast radio, podcast, and experiential channels.
Key Learning Goals:
The goal of this internship is to provide immersive learning and real-world experience through impactful projects. Goals include:
• Learning the role that advertising sales and brand partnerships play in supporting APMG's IP (podcast series - Marketplace's Million Bazillion) and the overall organization.
• Being able to identify the various advanced marketing solutions that are utilized to connect our APMG IP to advertiser brands as well as to new and core audiences - in this case, Marketplace's Million Bazillion Live!, our Sponsor, educators, and families across the country as we promote the necessity of financial literacy and normalize conversations around money.
• Exposure with coordinating multi-media strategy plans that include on-the-ground events, podcast, social media, e-blasts, and other audience touchpoints.
• Development of creative presentation and project management skills along with the ability to effectively communicate goals to key stakeholders within the company. All helping to foster a collaborative and innovative environment, aligning with APMG's broader strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
As the Project Intern, you will support the Million Bazillion Live Tour and assist with pre-production and planning logistics that integrate our title sponsor, Greenlight, during the tour's second year in 2025. You will have hands-on experience in the following areas:
• Collaborating with the Director of Brand Partnerships to brainstorm engagement and communication opportunities with Marketplace & APM Studios for middle school educators and families.
• Working along-side existing partnerships with third-party resources, including live-event production, graphic designers, and public relations teams, as necessary.
• Participating in weekly meetings with tour stakeholders to monitor sponsorship expectations to ensure project efficiency and maximize sponsor deliverables.
• Reporting project outcomes and/or risks to the Director of Brand Partnerships and escalating issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan.
• Assisting in the preparation of the weekly report for our title sponsor, Greenlight, providing insights and updates on tour progress.

Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in and have completed one year of a 2–4-year undergraduate degree. program OR are enrolled in a graduate degree program OR have earned a degree within the last 12 months.
• Must have access to Wi-Fi, Apple and Spotify podcast apps.
• Must have skill in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Apple Keynote is a plus).
• Strong attention to deadlines and project guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and frequent use of listening skills.
• Interest in Media, including Audio, Experiential, Digital Video, Social, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Good presentation writing skills, creative writing is a plus.
• Proficiency in Google Docs
• Interest in Marketing, Brand Partnerships, and/or Sales
• A willingness to think ''outside of the box'' when it comes to creative solutions and concepts
• A positive attitude!
