ITV America is looking for a strong, collaborative leader with extensive experience working on non-scripted series that film on location around the world.
The ideal candidate will be a direct and diplomatic communicator with the ability to recruit, manage and motivate the best production management team for large scale, big budget, non-scripted/reality productions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and a team player who is calm under pressure, able to make budget conscious and thoughtful decisions while multi-tasking and working within a fast-paced environment. Must have a positive attitude and must be able to travel for 3-6 months overseas. Experience with sustainability efforts on location is a plus. Position reports to Head of Production for production company.
Responsibilities include:
Team Management: Must be an effective and transparent team leader; team building skills a plus. Must have worked on series with over 300 crew.
Production Plan/ Systems: Work closely with department heads on their needs while staying within budget. Implement systems for PM team to help streamline workflows.
Budget Management/ Cost Tracking: Must be able to effectively and transparently track costs, work well with production accounting team as well as heads of production and head of production accounting for prod co.
Negotiation: secure the best deals for the production, have keen business acumen and an up-to-date knowledge of costs across all departments.
Risk management: mitigate risk in all aspects of production, from financial to operational and cast and crew welfare. Must be able to work well with security, medics and other onsite risk & safety teams as well as the internal departments at a prod co.
Have knowledge of:
Microsoft Office
Movie Magic Budgeting
Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
Worker's Comp and handling injuries on set if they arise
Managing large scale budgets and productions
IA, DGA, and/or SAG/AFTRA
Salary & Benefits: $4,000.00 - $4,500.00 per week.
