Salary Information:
- Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $250,000.
Workplace Location Requirements:
- Work Environment: Hybrid (#LI-HYBRID).
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Years of Experience: Minimum 15 years in editorial, ideally in the lifestyle space or at a service-oriented brand.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, liberal arts, or a related field required.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:
- Position: Editor-in-Chief for the Prevention brand at Hearst Magazines.
- Role Overview: Lead the editorial team and drive the content strategy for the Prevention brand. Responsible for shaping the editorial voice, overseeing content production, and ensuring content aligns with brand vision and resonates with the audience.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that align with company goals.
- Oversee the planning and execution of the monthly print magazine and cross-platform editorial calendar.
- Lead a team of writers, editors, and content creators to produce high-quality, engaging content.
- Review and edit content for clarity and consistency with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate across departments to create multimedia content that enhances user experience.
- Communicate with stakeholders to share strategies, goals, and performance metrics.
- Analyze audience data to optimize content and engagement strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to innovate and keep content fresh and engaging.
- Objective: To drive the content vision and execution for the Prevention brand, maintaining high editorial standards and leading innovative content strategies to engage and expand the audience.
