Hearst’s Performance Marketing team works strategically with Affiliate Partnerships, Programmatic Yield, and Edit teams to launch, optimize, and analyze search & social campaigns to drive high-performing traffic across our digital brands. As a part of this team, the Performance Marketing Associate will be responsible for media buying and traffic acquisition across self-serve tools such as Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, extremely detail oriented, possess a passion for analytics, and get excited about learning new skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Do
Launch and maintain paid media campaigns including setting them up, selecting creative images, writing and editing ad copy, and managing campaign performance.
Run and analyze campaign reporting to determine optimization opportunities for your portfolio of campaigns.
Collaborate, share results, and brainstorm with other team members to help shape campaign strategy.
Provide feedback to our edit teams on which topics and types of content are resonating with our audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
Who You Are
Have a bachelor’s degree
Experience in Excel and/or Google Sheets
Comfortable working with large data sets and adept at organizing and interpreting data
Enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Commerce, digital media, search, or social buying experience is a plus, but not required
The base salary for this role is from $56,000 to $67,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
