Job Description
This opportunity is for an Associate in talent management who will provide support to a manager with MP and TV clients (Talent and Literary). The ideal candidate will have a passion for on-screen or behind the scenes talent representation and be open to considering the manager path. The associate should have the desire to take on larger opportunities (e.g., pitching, submitting breakdowns, script coverage), and be able to communicate well with clients and peers. This position is located in Santa Monica, CA.
Responsibilities
• General administrative duties including handling phones, managing calendars, meeting prep, taking meeting notes and submitting
expenses.
• Serve as the first point of contact with clients, attorneys, and buyers.
• Maintain client and project data including biographies.
• Submit projects to accounting and assist with payment follow-up.
• Perform client and project research, create lists, and build presentations.
• Assist with client submissions and offers.
• Assist with rights checks.
• Read scripts/books and provide coverage.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1+ years of relevant administrative experience within entertainment specifically talent agency or talent management.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining a strict level of confidentiality with high-profile clients.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite; in particular, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree.
