Job Summary
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the attorneys of Raymond Legal and reports to the founder of the firm. Ideal candidates should be detail oriented, have clear communication skills, and possess a positive nature. A passion for unscripted, reality television, or documentary content is a plus.
In addition to providing support, this is a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of development and production legal in the unscripted genre.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting partners and attorneys in administrative and clerical duties such as connecting conference calls, scheduling meetings and lunches with clients, and overall, maintaining the calendars across the firm.
Overviewing documents or client work to aid in flagging legal concerns for the attorneys.
Planning and executing quarterly networking events for the firm, including the research and booking of a venue, managing the guest list, sending out digital invitations, and taking pictures during the event to post on social media.
Coordinating client gifts around the holiday season.
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS from an accredited university or college is preferred.
Experience within the entertainment industry. An assistant or coordinating background being a major plus.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills since the majority of work involves a high volume of emails, calls, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills with an understanding to maintain confidentiality.
Able to effectively communicate with clients through phone and email.
Proficiency with the following programs: Google Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Zoom with an ability to learn new programs as needed. A training period will be included.
This role is a remote Southern California-based position with a required accessibility to downtown Los Angeles once per week. It is expected to begin in June.
