Salary Information:
Annual salary range: $56,000.00 to $64,000.00. Eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance; 25 paid Institute holidays plus accrued vacation time; paid sick, family, and medical leave; employee wellness initiatives; and 401(k) with automatic 3% employer contribution after one year of employment.
Workplace Requirements:
Hybrid - Based in the greater Salt Lake City, UT area with the necessity to work onsite as needed and ample opportunity for remote work. Requires extended hours, including evenings and weekends, particularly around key events. Occasional travel to other Institute offices and events is required.

Skills Required:
Hard Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Express.
- Familiarity with other technologies such as Canva.com and Figma.
- Experience creating graphic assets for digital platforms.
- Knowledgeable in printing production methods, fabrication, and installation.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Effective presentation skills to cohesively demonstrate concepts and gain alignment from stakeholders.

Job Description:
The Senior Graphic Designer at Sundance Institute is responsible for managing all graphic design tasks, leading the development of creative ideas, and ensuring the production of high-quality creative assets for all Sundance Institute programs. This role oversees a design team including year-round and seasonal staff, ensuring that design standards are met across all print and digital media.
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate design work for all Sundance Institute programs and initiatives.
- Guide the development and actively participate in the creation of design assets.
- Lead design resource management, including the development of a marketing calendar.
- Ensure that design output is cohesive and adheres to our standards.
- Oversee the production of graphic systems and design asset kits.
- Manage the administrative and operational needs of the team.
- Review and approve graphics used by external vendors to ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Develop training materials and conduct training for design staff.
