Responsibilities:
•Assist in talent scouting and discovery for live performances at The Cutting Room NYC
•Coordinate with artists, agents, and managers to book and schedule performances
•Research and analyze emerging trends in music and entertainment
•Help curate lineups for events and shows based on audience preferences and market demand
•Support the A&R team in evaluating demo submissions and providing feedback to artists
•Attend live performances and industry events as needed
Requirements:
•Passion for music and a keen interest in talent discovery and development
•Strong communication and negotiation skills
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
•Familiarity with music industry platforms and databases is a plus
Overview:
•Internship Start Date/Season: Winter/Spring 2024, ASAP
•Internship Duration: 3-4 months (shorter durations considered)
•Time/Days Required: 3-5 days per week, 4-8 hours per day
•Workplace Requirements: In-office with potential for hybrid
•Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. College credit is offered.
