APA Talent Agency in New York currently seeks a Receptionist.
We are seeking an individual that is passionate, interested in entertainment industry, personable, has a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
This is an entry-level position where duties include:
Sorting mail, answering phones, communicating with offices in LA, NY, Nashville, Georgia, and London, special projects. Candidates must be comfortable greeting and speaking with agency guests and clients. Candidates will be expected to have excellent computer and communication skills.
The ideal candidate must be a motivated and hard-working person to handle multiple projects at once and have the willingness to assist in all areas of the company. We are seeking a polished and professional individual who has had industry experience, preferably at an agency or management firm.
The ideal candidates should be motivated, quick-thinking and open to working in a fast-paced environment. In addition to managing heavy phones candidates will also be expected to handle some administrative tasks. The individual should be flexible, highly organized and can multi-task.
Administrative duties include heavy phones, coordinating meetings and schedules, producing
correspondence, special projects and additional work as needed.
Requirements:
College degree from an accredited College or University.
At least 6 months of relevant administrative experience.
Strong work ethic and great attitude.
Attention to detail; keep calendar/appointments/meetings up to date.
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work.
Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to handle heavy phones.
Strong communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
