Bunim/Murray Production, producers of such shows as Bill Nye Saves the World, Total Divas, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Project Runway, Born This Way and many more… currently seek a full-time Business & Legal Affairs Coordinator for our Business & Legal Affairs department. The individual will be responsible for all administrative support including but not limited to:
General
- Working cross-functionally within the business unit and coordinating with other departments to improve communication and efficiencies
- Drafting department documents, releases, and agreements as needed under attorney or other executive supervision
- Organizing and maintaining departmental documents and filing systems (physical and electronic)
- Willingness to handle additional tasks as necessary
Business & Legal Affairs
- Organize legal file systems (physical and on server)
- Track and update various spreadsheets regarding deal terms, rights, options, and credits
- Manage, maintain, and update all legal forms
- Assist production attorneys with day-to-day legal matters under attorney supervision
Legal Clearance
- Track and update various spreadsheets regarding calendars and project-specific clearances
- Review programs for clearance issues
- Organize Development Binders
- Update, organize and maintain production releases for clearance needs
Branded Entertainment
- Track and update various spreadsheets regarding tradeouts, integrations, brand partners, and contacts
- Review programs for brand exposure
- Draft program description/one-sheets for use in brand outreach
- Attend weekly BE meetings
- Conduct research on brand categories and potential partners, including outreach to set up meetings and help BE develop relationships
- Assist BE executives with larger integrations and project management to ensure brand requirements are being met and exceeded.
- Coordinate between Clearance and BE to ensure each department is aware of relevant brands that the other is in discussions with
