Sunshine Sachs is seeking an experienced project manager to work on a global camera technology client in our LA office. The Project Manager will work to drive excitement within the filmmaking industry for the client's cinema products. The job is fast-paced and multi-faceted; the ideal candidate will work with a smart and scrappy team to develop and implement innovative marketing initiatives and public relations campaigns. The work includes fostering relationships with filmmakers and industry tastemakers to overseeing activations at film festivals, events, sponsorships, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as daily contact for the client, providing strategic counsel and tactical support
- Keep a team of five accountable to develop creative campaigns, actively manage deliverables, and ensure quality work is delivered on time
- Develop presentations, proposals, and planning decks in support of brand initiatives
- Analyze trends in the filmmaking industry to help drive strategy
- Research, identify, and help negotiate strategic partnership opportunities, including paid sponsorships
- Foster relationships between filmmakers and the brand
- Utilize a strong understanding of the media landscape to advise on public relations activities
- Provide on-site execution and event production support for all programming; assist with budget development and reconciliation
- Manage 3rd party vendor contracts and partner relationships
- Create status reports, recaps, and reports that measure KPIs
Qualifications:
- 4-7+ years of relevant experience; marketing, experiential/event production, and public relations background in an agency environment preferred
- Strong interest in technology and filmmaking a must; direct experience a plus
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects as part of a team
- Creative, curious, and design-oriented self-starter
- Ability to understand and evaluate ROI for client and set KPIs
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and multi-task
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc), Google Drive apps, and online research tools
- Ability to travel
