TIFF, a vibrant not-for-profit arts organization, is hiring for the contract position of: DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT PRODUCER
Responsibilities
• Designing creative content-driven digital and social media strategies that delight TIFF's digital audience
• Maintaining regular outreach with external departments who require assistance with their social media presence
• Monitoring social channels and supporting community management
• Able to write and concept in brand voice through social sites
• Think creatively (and visually)
• Provide ongoing analysis and tracking of campaigns and social media metrics
• Create and curate content to ensure a super fun and compelling user experience
• Day-to-day maintenance and production across social networks
• Engage with social audience, through customer queries and online community management
• Be the key day-to-day lead to assigned clients leveraging social media
• Promote, develop and push creative ideas to grow digital engagement, breadth and presence across social channels while still achieving sponsor and event festival needs
• Identify social media trends and provide recommendations; keep up with industry standards
• When applicable, work with digital agencies for idea generation and execution of campaigns across social networks
Minimum Requirements
• Degree or diploma in film, journalism, communications or digital media is an asset (but not required)
• Must have a love and curiosity around filmmaking and storytelling
• 1-3 years experience working in media or online communications
• Proven experience with and active use of social networks
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to think and act strategically/creatively
• Ability to multitask and be a self-starter, embrace initiative and action, because there is urgency in getting across the messages of the moment.
• Experience with photography and photo editing
• Experience with videography and video editing is an asset
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) is an asset
• Experience with Meltwater Engage, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck or other social scheduling tools is an asset
• Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends

• January 2, 2018 – December 31, 2018
