Job title: Sales Planner
Job summary
Working within a sales team that is responsible for generating revenue through advertising sales onto the Viacom portfolio of platforms worldwide. The role will be supporting this sales team in the execution, planning and delivery of international advertising deals.
Key responsibilities
Sales Planning
• Ensure that media planning is completed within the sales policy and deals are reported in accordance with the agreement between Viacom and the client.
• Updating forecasted campaigns in planning system with the latest details
• Client research - gathering information from external sources and regions
• Run hypothetical rating analysis for the client
• Liaise with operations team to ensure feasibility of deal
• Plan onair media for client and in conjunction with digital planner any online plans
• Communication of requirements to client for execution of the media portion of the deal.
• Monitor execution of deal across all platforms
• Chase Copy with client or agency
• Keep planning system updated with latest deal detail.
• Compile post campaign analysis report
Sales Support
• Assistant to AD/AM in account management and service
• Assisting in sales pitch planning
• Assisting putting together Presentations
• Working on Case studies and debriefs
• Maintain excellent internal relationships with all departments within Viacom
• Admin support – travel, meeting booking & team meeting minutes
• Client research - gathering information from internal & external sources
• Collation and distribution of meeting reports, client activity reports
• Responsible for management of team sales tools, e.g. media pack, category presentations (working with research)
• Network outside of the company with the aim of developing relationships with key contacts

PC Skills
• MS Office preferably with Excel at an intermediate level
• Experience of media sales booking systems an advantage

• Basic knowledge of marketing, media and sponsorship an advantage
• Experience of client/customer facing an advantage
• Experience of office environment is essential
