VIMN Senior Manager, Content, UK
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
As Senior Manager you will be responsible for management of the media and publishing businesses for Nickelodeon and VIMN properties with local and international partners across UK.
Reporting into the Senior Director you will nurture the existing licensee base amd retail relationships to deliver growth; forge new partnerships and secure new business - via formats, efficiencies and/or scale internationally.
To be successful in this role you will have extensive market expertise within retail, consumer products and publishing to ensure we command authority at retail and with key partners. You will participate in developing territory strategies by line of business and ensuring our key partners are aligned through strong business plans with quarterly reviews.
Additional key responsibilities include;
• Financial ownership of total category for designated territories, UK being key market; revenue targets, financial reporting, providing total visibility to movements in accrued/actualization of revenue, working with collections teams to ensure licensee financials are in good standing
• Further develop existing licensee and local relationships to ensure they are focused on Viacom properties, aligned to property and retail strategies and maximized within key areas of specialty
• Seek new business by looking for new license, format and distribution opportunities.
• Work with agents and publishing/CP licensees directly to drive relationship, focus, brand growth and retail exposure
• Through financial and market analysis, identify gaps and opportunities in the market to help drive our retail exposure, consumer engagement and/or revenue
• Negotiate and close significant value agreements across single and multiple territories. Initiate, manage and negotiate contracts for new deals and renewals
• Ensure all activity contributes to wider local integrated marketing campaigns with consumer product licensees and the channel(s) – working to achieve a 360° plan.
• Think 360 – ensure internal support and approval with local teams in all dealings
• Work with stakeholders in Editorial, Creative, Brand Management and Sales to ensure cohesion/understanding of common goals and strategy direction
• Think international with scale and efficiencies, identifying and sharing best practices
• Communicate our plans and results to Content and Super Team and the division at large
• Work with the operations and creative teams to plan visual line plans by publisher
• Attend relevant tradeshows and key partner/territory meetings (Travel is required)
• Evaluate and analyze market trends and competition to fill voids in product category
• Conduct annual or semi-annual business reviews with licensees
