Job Description: Festival Team Internship Opportunity for INFAMOUS PR
Infamous PR is seeking highly-motivated individuals to participate in its fast-paced internship program. Applicants should have an interest in music festivals and be ready to learn the in-and-outs of working in the music PR industry. Infamous PR's program is highly-involved and offers hands-on training and experience that is invaluable to working in the industry.
Infamous PR represents some of the biggest and most unique festivals in the world including Primavera Sound, Hangout Fest, Electric Forest, Do LaB / Lightning in a Bottle, Splash House, CRSSD Festival, HARD Summer, ARC Music Festival, and more.
As an intern at Infamous PR, you can expect to be involved in the following:
Research background information for upcoming festival campaigns
Drafting and sending pitches to media related to music festivals
Drafting and sending out press releases to media for nation-wide campaigns
Establishing relationships with members of the media & press community
Creating and building lists of relevant contacts
Directly assisting publicists with a number of other tasks
Helping to manage press requests and press lists for festivals
Listening in on client calls and helping to take accurate notes
Assisting the INFAMOUS team on-site at music festivals where needed
If experience in the festival world is something you would like to gain, then please send an email with your resume, cover letter, and projected availability. In addition, it is important that you please tell us your favorite festival, favorite festival memory, and five artists you're currently listening to. The internship is for March to June 2024, 6-8 hours per day, 3 days/week.
*NOTE: You will be working remotely via G-chat, email, and phone. You will be asked to video conference into some of the team meetings but not necessary in day-to-day work.
