THE POSITION
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live event business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, working 15-20 hours per week.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Input and generate ticket count tracking reports daily
• Maintain internal ticket count system
• Assist with event builds on designated ticketing system for festivals
• Collect and analyze inventory data across multiple events
• Process and fulfill ticket requests, internal orders, and other credentials for events/festivals as needed
• Perform any administrative duties as required and assigned by the Director of Ticketing
• Support the C3 Ticketing Team in the office or at events as needed
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The Ticketing intern will be key in ticket sales operations, reporting, fulfillment and on site operations for the Festival Ticketing Team. This position will learn how to build events and place tickets on sale for events using specific ticketing systems. Additionally, this position will learn how to compile, analyze and track ticket count data across various events. The successful Ticketing intern will understand the full ticketing process of a festival from on sale to event completion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• This role requires you to be in our Austin, TX office. This is not a remote internship opportunity.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University; Preferably in a field related to the internship you are applying for
• Junior or Senior standing
• Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
