Compensation:
$300,000 - $350,000 annually, with additional benefits including full medical, vision, and dental coverage, annual discretionary bonus and merit increase, generous sick days, vacation days, holidays, 401(k) with company matching, and tuition reimbursement.
Hard Skills:
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant industry experience, preferably within television, entertainment, cable, and/or streaming.
- Minimum of 7 years management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent field.
- Proven experience in building and managing multi-tactical media plans.
- Extensive knowledge of all types of media and related stewardship.
- Acumen for testing & data analysis to continually improve results.
- Understanding of upper and lower funnel media strategies.
- Strong negotiating skills with experience managing the financial and contractual aspects of multi-million dollar media campaigns.
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal communications skills.
- Ability to make clear and concise oral and written presentations to all levels of the organization and various audiences.
- Empathetic collaborator.
- Ability to supervise, develop, and mentor a media team while fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and innovation.
Position Overview:
The SVP of Media will lead the development of comprehensive media strategies for the STARZ brand and its content slate, crafting innovative campaigns that grow consideration, awareness, and buzz, and driving subscription revenue across direct-to-consumer and affiliate partners. This role includes managing the internal media team and external media agency, partnering with the Insights & Analytics team, and being accountable for the annual media budget and fiscal spending.
